I don’t provide a generator with the pack at the moment. That said, the NPCs are exported in a way that makes them easy to layer and mix manually, so you can already create a lot of variations that way.
If you’re working with code, it should also be fairly straightforward to build a simple generator that swaps the different components automatically — that part’s just outside my scope.
Just purchased this, perhaps I missed it, but I’m attempting to quickly iterate with some of the ready made characters and would love to know which frames correspond to what animations as well as the target framerate for the animations. Thank you so much for this asset!
Hi there, thank you for purchasing the asset pack!
Each animation sheets should be split 8 columns and 5 rows. Each row is an animation that can be used either as an idle or walking animation (since the characters are designed without legs), from the top: row1 = facing down, row2 _ facing down to the side, row3 = facing to the side, row 4 = facing up to the side, row 5 = facing up. Flip row 2-4 for left/right animations respectively. Slow down/ speed up animations for idle/walking animations if desired to make them more distingueished. Alternatively, use the first frame from each animation for a static idle. Target fps is 12.
Talking animations for mouths can be found in NPC > Face > "Mouth talking", same with "Eye blink". However these are set up for self-made npc's, the premade npc's are set up to be simple in animation to make everything easy and fast to set up.
Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you :)
This is such awesome work! I just picked up your ultimate isometric interior pack too and am loving it! Do you think you would every make animal folk NPCs? I'm working on a cozy river exploration/crafting game and the characters are anthropomorphic animals :)
Hi there, thank you so much. I don't have one in the works right now, but these packs are popular, so I'm planning to expand with more packs that work together over time. I've noted the request 👍
Thank you for the compliments :) I have a MA in game design, with a focus on graphics, so for me it's just been years of building up my style and repertoire. I use a mix of procreate and photoshop to create most of my assets, so getting into those programs, and working on flat colour techniques, would be a good start.

Hey
Great job!
Is there any generators to build more variations of the NPC based on the NPC component you are providing in the pack? :)
Thanks
Hey, thanks a lot!

Hope that helps, and happy developing!

That’s all I was looking for, thank you so much! I do have some questions regarding your isometric interior but I’ll make a post over on that item.

Thank you! Have a great day!
nice work
bro this is so good... buying this IMMIDIATLY. Also, got any tips on how to make art like this? I've been inspired!
Thank you for the compliments :)

Okay, thanks! I'll have to try those programs out. Also getting a master of arts in game design must have taken a ton of work! :
Indeed it did, but I'm happy to be where I am today. Let me know if there is anything else I can be of help with :)
I will. Thanks so much!
AWESOME WORK!
Thank you so much :)
